Bio: Kalyn VonBerg is originally from New York and holds undergraduate degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Spanish Literature. She spent three years living abroad, where she became fluent in Spanish through immersive cultural experiences. During that time, and later in the United States, she had the opportunity to teach and tutor both English and Spanish to students of various ages. Prior to starting a family, Kalyn and her husband traveled extensively throughout Central America, partnering with nonprofit organizations and gaining firsthand insight into diverse cultures and global issues. Kalyn and her husband, Kaleb live in Mooresville with their three children, who all attend LPCA. She enjoys lifelong learning, reading, traveling, seeking new adventures, and spending quality time with her family and friends.
