Bio: Matt Stewart is grateful to join Liberty Prep Christian Academy as the K-5 Music Teacher, bringing a background in arts education and worship ministry. He holds a B.F.A. in Dance from The Juilliard School and completed further studies through the Berklee College of Music Extension School and Harvest Worship Training Center. His past experience includes performing with the San Francisco Ballet, serving as a worship leader for local churches, and teaching music, theater, and dance to K-12 students. As a songwriter, he has also had the opportunity to have his music featured on networks like ESPN, USA, and Hallmark. Outside of the classroom, Matt is happily married with two children attending LPCA. He enjoys spending time outdoors, playing board games with his family, trying new restaurants, and sampling desserts of all kinds. He also currently enjoys playing golf alongside his son.
