Bio: Katherine Potts is originally from Orangeburg, SC. She attended Covenant College near Chattanooga, TN, and met her husband, Trevor, during her time there. She did her first few years of teaching in the public schools in Tennessee before having her own children beginning in 2016. She moved to the Charlotte area in 2016 and has been teaching in private Christian schools or private tutoring (or both!) ever since. The Potts family now includes three of the best kids around: Vivian, Teddy, and Tate. Mrs. Potts LOVES math and absolutely lives for showing her students that math isn't always as scary as it sometimes seems! If you can be smiling while doing math then it can't be all that bad! Teaching is where Mrs. Potts thrives and she is so thankful for the opportunity and blessing to teach at such a wonderful school as Liberty Prep.
