Bio: Jilian Pestotnik grew up in Ohio and attended Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois where she earned a BA in Psychology and met her husband, Brian. She later earned a graduate teaching certificate at Bradley University and a Masters in School Leadership and Administration at Appalachian State University. Jilian has taught elementary, middle and high school as well as English at Mitchell Community College before joining LPCA as it began in 2010. In 2013, Jilian and her family moved overseas to work with refugees and community development. Then in 2021, her family moved back to North Carolina and Jilian returned to LPCA where she serves as the Elementary Principal and K-12 Curriculum Coordinator.
Jilian is mom to two grown children, Ethan and Ella. Together they enjoy traveling, exploring new cities and cultures, and getting to know others gathered around a table or over a good cup of coffee.
