Elementary Principal & Curriculum Coordinator - Jilian Pestotnik grew up in Columbus, Ohio and attended Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois where she earned a BA in Psychology, Bible and Christian Ministry and met her husband, Brian. She later earned a graduate teaching certificate at Bradley University. She taught elementary in Illinois and Oregon and middle school in Statesville, North Carolina then spent 8 years teaching English at Mitchell Community College before joining LPCA as it began in 2010. In 2013, the Lord took Jilian and her family overseas to work with refugees and community development. Then in 2021, the Father brought their family back to North Carolina and Jilian back to LPCA where she serves as the Elementary Principal.
Jilian and her husband Brian have a son and daughter. Together they enjoy traveling, exploring new cities, watching British tv shows, and getting to know others gathered around a table or over a good cup of coffee. It is the passion of Jilian’s heart to see more people love Jesus and to see others love Jesus more.
