DRESS CODE - STUDENT

Dress Code Policy

At any time during the school day, the purpose of the dress code is to present a positive, modest image and provide an environment conducive to learning.  All students are expected to maintain good grooming habits and appropriate dress.  Parents, please take a moment each day to ensure your student is dressed according to policy.

Students must wear Liberty Prep approved dress with the Liberty Prep embroidered logo while on campus and while attending any school activity unless otherwise notified.  All sweatshirts and jackets worn inside the school building, other than heavy winter outerwear, must be listed below as an approved item and embroidered with the LPCA logo or mascot.  As of 2012-2013 LPCA will no longer use lapel pins.

*A collared shirt must be worn under all other apparel.

*All colors must be solid with no pattern unless otherwise noted.

*Fingertip test – Have student stand with her arms to her side.  If the skirt is as long as her fingertips by her side plus 2 inches, the skirt should be long enough. When in doubt, just above the knee is always appropriate.  Girls grow throughout the year so you may want to purchase a longer skirt in the fall to avoid having to purchase new ones in the spring.

We will also have several designated LPCA Spirit Wear Days throughout the year.  Spirit Wear T-shirts and sweatshirts may be worn in place of collared shirts on those days.  During dress down days, special spirit days, or after school programs, clothing must remain neat and modest.  Thank you for ensuring that all clothing is modest, in good condition, and in good taste to the glory of God.
